The Luton’s Best Awards in partnership with Love Luton aimed at celebrating the achievements of truly remarkable individuals and organisations who make Luton a better place was presented at a glittering ceremony at the Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa on Friday 29^th November 2019.

Mike Vos, Group General Counsel, Strawberry Star Group presented the ‘Luton’s Most Outstanding Citizen of the Year 2019 Award’ along with Luton Mayor Cllr Tahir Mahmood Malik to Dr Joan Bailey MBE for her contribution to the Luton town community.

Nominated by the public, the winners are from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the town. Their achievements are awe-inspiring and a lesson to us all. They say they are ordinary people, but quite their acts are truly extraordinary. Since 2018, Strawberry Star Group has been partnering with the Luton Council to sponsor the Most Outstanding Citizen of the Year 2019 Award. 

Strawberry Star will continue to partner with communities and local authorities to recognise and reward outstanding personalities, who have contributed to the welfare of the local people and society.
